Meaning at the age of 40, you have spent 36 of those years indoors. There are a lot of invisible dangers in the 21.000 breaths we take every day, and they have a huge impact on our daily well-being and long-term health. Poor air quality is one of the big health risks we are facing today, and it takes millions of lives every year. Airthings ASA is an R&D focused scaleup dedicated to the ambition of empowering the world to breathe better. For Airthings this means making all the invisible dangers visible, helping people understand what they are being exposed to and enabling them to do something about it. Doing this requires new, innovative solutions. Through this project Airthings is going to take a big leap from measuring air quality in peoples homes, to being able to help our customers improve their air quality. This will be realized through the development of a new digital air coach which will help users with personalized recommendations, actions and control for improving their air quality. This together with a new novel radon sensor and a super silent air purifier, will put Airthings in a unique position for helping customers solve the two biggest air quality issues in peoples homes, namely particulate matter and radon. At the end of the day, our ultimate goal is to use data to help people change their behavior and take action to improve their air quality.
