Elinor seeks to deliver a solution that will allow the growth in grid capacity to seamlessly integrate various renewable technologies that would otherwise be impossible under any real scenario. BESS application is an often misunderstood and almost always underestimated component in the green solution to the electrification of society if it is to realistically move towards zero emissions. Yet even the production of the best technology available for this, is itself environmentally costly in the current state of the art. Elinor will be exploring this technology from the ground up, and employing some of the best research institutions in Norway, in a near ideal location, in order to solve this challenge. The more we meet our expectations for this improvement to the current state of the art, the more it will be ultimately taken for granted that the grid will "simply work", in spite of being based on a host of new technologies that are both renewable and sustainable.
