Exploting Data for Heavy Duty Electrical Vehicles

Fastcharge is building a network of 350 kW public charging points across Norway for heavy duty electric vehicles (HDEV). We are using renewable energy to do so, in some cases generated and stored on site as solar energy, in other cases drawn from Norway’s pervasive renewable energy sources. Our offering is enabled seamlessly as a service consumed onsite, and electronically billed later. The vehicle plugs in, is digitally and automatically authenticated, then it charges until the driver unplugs. This process is effortless and relieves the driver of any other task or responsibility. Our digital platform and its interface, and the ease of consumption they enable, is essential to the success of our service. Fastcharge also captures and processes data across all of our sites, and third party data sources, offerings, clients and their vehicles, and beyond, to help improve both our user experience, and help accelerate Norway’s adoption of electrified transportation. Our eMobility Data Platform is the network layer that manages this data capture, analysis, exploitation in the name of innovation, and sharing. Finally, we are providing the best rest-and-recharge experience for both Norwegian and international drivers. We are committed to ensuring the smooth integration of electric trucks and charging infrastructure into our existing supply chains in order to help enable the rapid growth of zero-emission trucking.
