Research and development of sustainable oral patch towards clinical trial

Aphtous ulcer in the oral cavity is a common disorder that can reduce the patient´s quality of life. It can cause a lot of pain and interfere with chewing and speech. OriPatch will develop an innovative plaster which relieves pain caused by mouth ulcers, such as aphthous ulcers. The invention is an innovative patch which will be placed directly on the affected area, deliver focused pain relief and provide protection. The goal in this project is to develop Oripatch to be an optimal and preferred solution that provides better and more targeted pain relief than existing products on the market. OriPatch is expected to be the only documented medical drug for Aphthous stomatitis in pharmacies in Norway. The project has secured funding through extern investors. The project is anchored in the management of the business and all results are owned by OriPatch AS. The project manager will initiate the project with an approved executive R&D supplier.
