Shapemaker is a Norwegian B2B SaaS company specializing in telecommunication infrastructure software solutions for civil engineering design and analysis. Our goal is to simplify complex engineering processes through user intuitive software, starting with telecommunication infrastructure. In an effort to transform the way communication towers are designed, Shapemaker is now embarking on an innovative project: Automated Optimization of Tower Design. Currently, the process of tower design is time-consuming and often results in excessive use of materials. Shapemaker aims to reinvent telecom civil engineering this by developing advanced software that will streamline the workflow, and drastically reduce analysis time from weeks to minutes. The software will utilize complex algorithms and data analysis to optimize tower configurations, leading to quicker design timelines, reduced waste, and improved structural efficiency. This will minimize unnecessary raw material consumption while reducing tower carbon footprint. The project addresses the challenges posed by evolving technology and the need for adaptable tower structures. By automating the consideration of factors like exposure, materials, and efficiency, Shapemaker seeks to improve and modernize the way telecom civil engineering is approached.
