Norwegian Fishfarming Technologies AS (Nofitech) develops, designs and builds all or parts of land-based recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). We participate in the entire development process, from engineering to completion of the plant, training of personnel and operational support. Our main product is standardized RAS modules adapted to smolt production, post-smolt production, growout production and broodstock production. The high demand of delivery of RAS modules and the requirements including shorter time to market triggers the necessity of better and more efficient tools to produce software code, improving at the same time the quality in the final product. The project aims to produce a tool for software code that is highly reliable and based on standardized input. The software code that is produced today is normally done manually and is highly dependent on the person in charge of the production, which in turn makes the test mechanism really complex and error-prone. So that is why our novel solution that can produce software code automatically will not just improve the resultant code, but also simplify the processes involved in the testing.
