Offentlig prosjektsammendrag
Atlantic salmon is to an increasing extend produced in emerging new production systems like RAS and land-based production. Due to the possibility to control the environmental factors and an increased focus on large-smolt production, an increase in early sexual maturation during Atlantic salmon production is expected. In this project we will study the combined effect of environment and genetics on early sexual maturation during smolt production to control this trait through breeding.
