QRTD is embarking on an ambitious project to reshape the future of online shopping and digital content creation. We aim to develop a next-generation social commerce platform that aligns the interests of shoppers, creators, and sellers through a transaction-based business model, and where the short- and long-term objectives of all the marketplace actors and QRTD itself are optimized and balanced using AI. Unlike traditional platforms, QRTD will democratize the digital retail value chain and provide earning opportunities for creators of all sizes. Our project centers around two key technological challenges. Firstly, we aim to create an AI system that can process and recommend video content in a personalized and efficient manner. This involves developing sophisticated AI algorithms capable of understanding and predicting user interactions with rich video content, and using this to optimize the three-sided marketplace for the benefit of everyone on the platform. Secondly, we seek to overcome the technological hurdles associated with serving short-form video content at a large scale. As demand for such content grows, it presents significant challenges in video processing, compression, and distribution that we are committed to overcoming. Our project's success will not only solidify QRTD's unique position in the social commerce landscape but also contribute to new knowledge in AI platform development, machine learning algorithms, and large-scale video delivery technology. We believe our efforts will have a transformative impact on the digital retail value chain, paving the way for a more inclusive and equitable online shopping experience.
