The main goal is to build the PolarEdge Cloud product by harvesting the spare computing resources from data centers leveraging blockchain and cloud-native technologies as computing infrastructures. PolarEdge Cloud serves as an IaaS provider for real-time applications and Metaverse applications with green computing, lower prices, privacy protection, and high performance. 1) We harvest the spare computing resources and avoid wasting them. 2)Our platform supports customers to buy spare computing power at more than 50% lower prices than the public cloud. 3)It also leverages privacy-preserving tools, e.g., multi-party computation, homomorphic computation, and TEE, to avoid participants accessing the raw data while all the participants are able to get the correct computing result. 4)In particular, customers upload the tasks to the edge cloud closer to their place with lower latency and higher bandwidth support.
