Piql has developed solutions for the "Digital Preservation" market and an offline storage medium solution to keep data alive. Piql will now research and develop tools and processes to decommission databases that preserve their content permanently on a physical medium and online, and that include tools for database regeneration together with its search functionalities. iDA project will use the open-source format SIARD format (Software Independent Archiving of Relational Databases) to preserve the data and the functionalities and make them future-proof, incorruptible, safe and accessible. iDA will innovate in capturing query functionalities, integrating them into query libraries, engine APIs and a simplified execution software machine. Besides, iDA will provide new business opportunities for owners and users of relational databases. It will produce completely new outcomes that do not exist today.
