Improving Water Quality and Degasser Performance in RAS Systems

NFT NewCo is primarly focused on the development of aquaculture equipment for RAS systems which can improve fish health and welfare. Improvements to water quality and specifically the management of CO2 levels throughout the RAS system are key areas of focus for NFT NewCO, and our main product is technology for improvement of the CO2 degasser, which aim to debottleneck current, state of the art RAS systems by improving CO2 removal, resulting in increased fish health, welfare and stocking densities. In this project NFT NewCO will focus on the development of two additional novel and synergystic products for CO2 managment. One, relating to enhanced CO2 removal within in the existing degasser of a typical RAS system and the other relating to system management of harmful CO2 throughout the entire RAS system.
