IDEX Biometrics' fingerprint sensors and biometric solutions are used in touch-free smartcards and other devices. We help make authentication safe and highly secure while ensuring an outstanding user experience. This project will develop the next generation ASIC which will is the controller, processor and memory of the next-generation sensors. The project will drive to enable features that will lower total integration costs for biometric sensing solutions in smart card and digital currency/electronic payment application. This project will deliver new NFC power harvesting optimizations that will open opportunities to improve both sensing and image processing performance. Advancements in the analog frontend will allow higher performance sensing methods to enable new lower cost card implementations.
