Using machine learning to make society more efficient

Visma has customers who struggle with challenging, complex, and time-consuming problems every single day. Our job is to find those customers, identify their problems and find a solution to them. By dedicating ourselves to the latest research within artificial intelligence, particularly machine learning, we seek to significantly improve the efficiency and operations of Visma's more than 1 million customers within both the private- and public sectors. We believe that the success of machine learning running in the real world requires deep knowledge within mathematics, domain knowledge of the subject at hand (business processes, in our case), and the interaction between humans and technology. That is why the members of this project, with deep mathematical and machine learning knowledge, team up with domain experts in Visma and users outside of Visma to develop the machine learning-based solutions that will make tomorrow much more efficient than today.
