Immune cell therapy with gene modified T cells finds application in treatment of cancer, infectious diseases, autoimmunity and transplantation. Key steps of the process are sample collection, target cell isolation and activation, gene modification, cell expansion, purification and cell drug formulation. Our Dynabeads platform already provides a robust and relevant isolation/activation outcome. However, recent advances in clinical applications using subsets of immune cells may require new technologies for target cell isolation/purification and activation. In this project, we will develop innovative solutions to address the unmet needs in current manufacturing process for immune cell therapy.
