Intelligent treatment for migraine patients

Nordic Brain Tech develops a digital treatment for migraine headaches. By the use of two wireless sensors and personalized software (app on a smartphone), patients can perform training by themselves at home that can reduce migraines by 50%. The self-assisted treatment consists of a digital therapist that omits the need for a trained therapist and stationary equipment at a hospital. The developed solution is research-based from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) since 2015 and has undergone several pre-clinical trials by leading migraine specialists in Norway. The project consists of technology development (both hardware and software), clinical testing and documentation. The planned work of research and development builds the foundation for commercialization of the treatment to an international market.
