Solution Seeker is an aspiring Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, supporting the next great leap in digital transformation of production teams. The technology is founded upon years of research at NTNU, and leverages recent developments within big data and machine learning to increase the production engineers’ situational awareness and support better decision making. The commercial goal is to increase production by 1.5% for assets that apply our full ProductionCompass AI (PCAI) platform. This amounts to a net yearly revenue increase of 2.2 BNOK for the 22 most relevant assets on the NCS, and more than 15 BNOK for the 208 most relevant fields worldwide. With a successful market entry and competitive pricing, Solution Seeker annual revenues can surpass 1 BNOK. Solution Seeker’s Production Compass AI software platform achieved commercial status in 2019, but we are still committed to further R&D to test, prove and qualify new AI technologies. This area of expertise is developing at high speed globally, and we aim to establish ourselves as a preferred partner for applying AI to industrial challenges both internationally and in other industries beyond oil and gas. The main goal of this Skattefunn project is for Solution Seeker to develop our infrastructure to be more scalable, expand our offering with our best proof-of-concepts, and build our brand through better dissemination of our AI research results to position as a global industrial AI player. Solution Seeker has ambitious plans for growth, especially in number of employees and impact in new industries. We will continue to focus on development of our products to scale, and are also planning increased efforts on our positioning through storytelling and dissemination of our AI research and results, inspired by world leaders like OpenAI (openai.com).
