DTO phase 1 - Making Enterprise Architecture insights accessible to the wider organization

Ardoq provides a dynamic, data-driven tool for Enterprise Architecture (EA). The company’s technology roadmap for the next 3-5 years is directed towards providing a true Digital Twin of the Organization (DTO). We believe organizations that are "digital leaders" will start to overlay "behavioral data" (from DevOps, Cloud, Business Intelligence & Analytics tools as well as process mining tools) on top of the traditional architectural model of the organization. This will allow them to verify the "model of the organization" by triangulating it with monitoring data from the organization. It will also open up new opportunities to simulate how proposed changes to the organization impacts key metrics like cost, risk, and complexity - drastically improving the organization's ability to successfully drive change and stay competitive. The technology also opens up opportunities to identify previously unknown correlations, which might otherwise be difficult to identify. The project focuses on completing phase 1 of the DTO project, solving problems at the root cause level. In the next 2-year period, Ardoq will deepen the integration with Identity Providers to correlate the architectural models with the people in the organization. Interim steps center on seamless crowdsourcing of data across the organization and having data flowing into an EA graph through a focus on data integrations. Besides creating a solid basis for the long-term vision, the project allows Ardoq to acquire new knowledge and skills both by overcoming specific technical challenges and addressing multiple players in complex value chains. Above all, the project will mature our understanding in relation to: * Effective onboarding and shorter time-to-value for customers * Ensuring reliable, high-quality data * Engagement inside and outside the enterprise architecture team
