Offentlig prosjektsammendrag
The Heavy-Duty (HD) Clamp Connector project aims to offer a lighter and more compact clamp connector design with increased mechanical capacity, compared to existing equivalent connectors. By thoroughly optimizing the internal design of the connector, compression of connecting hubs, and thus mechanical integrity and metal-to-metal sealing of the connection, can be maximized resulting in a compact and simplified heavy duty connector that can be activated by standard ROV torque tool. This will offer our customers a lighter, simpler and cheaper alternative to existing high capacity subsea pipe connectors.
