The development of the MIRIS X platform: A Blockchain Powered, Green Finance Solution

Sustainability is becoming more important in every aspect of life. It is widely accepted that real-estate is a high-carbon asset class and therefore a key component in moving towards a sustainable world. In the real-estate sector there is a steady but increasing view on how technology can be harnessed to provide clean and sustainable living solutions through the integration of cutting-edge technologies and, a new approach to real-estate development. To take advantage of such opportunities fully, MIRIS will transform from a standard – albeit energy efficient and Smart technology focussed – real-estate company, into an integrated Smart City delivery and investment company built on a tokenised blockchain platform. This project seeks to develop this platform, ‘MIRIS X’, and leverage Blockchain technology to deliver next generation financial operations and sustainable real-estate development. The vision is to deliver a solution that will remove reliance on costly intermediaries and manual processes in the complex supply-chain who often trigger delays in real-estate development and therefore significantly reduce transaction costs and, remove cash-flow risk for suppliers. MIRIS are seeking to create a novel and highly technical solution that will manage and track the flow of finances and milestones throughout the project lifecycle. Through their innovative solutions, built and managed through MIRIS X, MIRIS aim to revolutionise the real-estate development sector, and lead the future for an energy-efficient, innovation-led Smart build environment.
