Vissim is a world-leading supplier of Maritime Awareness and Offshore Energy solutions. Vissim’s technologies lie behind some of the largest and most complex surveillance for Oil & Gas, and logistics planning solutions for Offshore Windfarms. Vissim is a highly innovative information technology company and, for more than thirty years, the company has provided essential capabilities to our customers to enable them to protect their offshore energy assets, and in the recent years, to also optimize their logistics planning and execution for Windfarms and Ports Today, the general digitalization development trend leads to a demand for significant new digital Port logistics planning capabilities. With regard to establishing integrated planning operations, and a to reach a satisfactory level of logistics information sharing across the actors that are involved in the Port logistics planning process and the execution of the logistics on an operational level. The aim of this project to carry out a major upgrade of Vissim’s current PIMS solution for Ports in order to meet the current and coming customer requirements resulting from the ongoing digitalization transformation taking place within the Port industry all over the world.
