Offentlig prosjektsammendrag
The paint and coating industry have traditionally been solvent-based. Environmental issues and health concerns have forced the industry to develop water-based coatings while facing challenges to reach standards of solvent-based coatings. Nevertheless, environmental regulations all over the world are pushing the coating industries towards the water-borne formulations. Dynoadd, the coating additive section of Dynea, needs to be active in this transition and build a strong expertise on water-borne coatings to develop its portfolio and to offer diverse solutions to the market. This project primarily focuses on development of new waterborne pigment dispersing agents while also seeking to optimise the project output by applying new technologies developed to solventborne systems.
