Offentlig prosjektsammendrag
The current project called "Clinical evaluation of Woulgan Gel" is designed to investigate the usefulness and safety of the novel soluble beta-glucan containing wound gel for treatment of hard-to-heal chronic wounds. The project aims to investigate how a bioactive gel is best used in reactivating the healing process in chronic wounds that often can take months or even years to fully heal with standard of care, and subsequently establish clinical guidelines for how such a treatment is to be given to be effective and safe to the patients.
