Offentlig prosjektsammendrag
The paint and coating industries have traditionally been solvent-based. Environmental issues and health concerns have forced the industries to develop water-based coatings while facing challenges to reach standards of solvent-based coatings. Nevertheless, environmental regulations all over the world are pushing the coating industries towards the water-borne formulations. An active development effort is needed to offer solutions to the broad challenges faced by all the actors involved in this transition, leading to tremendous market opportunities. Dynoadd, the coating additive section of Dynea, needs to be active in this transition and build a strong expertise on water-borne coatings to develop its portfolio and to offer diverse solutions to the market.
