Bio-Me is a Norwegian-based biotech company that aims to transform the way we understand our health and ourselves. To this end we have developed GutCheck™, an exciting platform technology that enables highly accurate analysis of the human microbiome 20X faster than existing technologies at a fraction of the cost. Our breakthrough is the culmination of 20 years of research by leading Norwegian experts in microbial analysis. Bio-Me is partnered with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the HUNT biobank, the University of Oslo and Oslo Science Park. With leading academics and industry experts in the fields of microbiology, bioinformatics and big data, Bio-Me is conducting the world’s largest and most ambitious microbiome study to-date. This will culminate in a proprietary database that will give rise to novel biomarkers and new drug candidates.
