Offentlig prosjektsammendrag
Both lipid and essential fatty acids (EFA) are essential components of biological functions and play pivotal roles under various stress conditions. In fish farming including seabass, the dietary lipid and FA contents have been defined to provide optimal growth performances under optimal conditions. In reality seabass farming has to face to various stressors. Thus for optimum health and overall performance under challenged conditions (eg stress tolerance) the EFA requirements may be different. This experiment will help to define the optimal lipid and EFA dietary levels to support growth and robustness in seabass during challenging conditions.
