Safety system with a multifunctional wireless combined Keyless and Engine Kill Switch

The CoastKey solution will represent a modern and high tech safety system for the boating market, with the vision of improving safety at sea. The system will include a multifunctional wireless combined engine kill switch and keyless FOB remote controller, and connects auxiliary instruments such as plotter, tracker, VHF etc. on the boat together. In addition, the system will have a Man Overboard Backtrack Feature. If the pilot falls over board the engine will shut off, and the MOB procedure will start. Other personnel on board can wear an Alarm Unit which will start the MOB procedure, but without the kill switch function. In this way our solution ensures a secure and safe environment for the driver and the crew. We will strongly recommend our solution to all boat owners, and engine- and boat manufacturers who want to offer additional safety to their customers.
