Thin Film Electronics is world leading within printed electronics and is focusing on its NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. The vision is to use NFC technology everywhere by researching and developing state of the art roll to roll manufacturing technology that will give an annual capacity of several billion labels per year. In addition to researching and developing state of the art roll to roll manufacturing technology, we will also advance the NFC technology as such. Thinfilms NFC technology is based on our PDPS (PolyDopant PolySilicon) chips and we will put significant resources into further development of this unique technology. We will also develop software that will support customer use cases. Many times, it is necessary to be able to offer a turn key solution due to the fact that many customers are small companies without internal software resources. The sustainability and recyclability of the products will be investigated.
